How can the EU sort out cybersecurity and AI dangers?
Parliament questions the European Commission on its latest proposals, including concrete actions to support EU member states and companies in Europe to address AI-related cybersecurity risks and to bolster Europe’s advanced AI cybersecurity capabilities.
The European Commission recently welcomed the G7 cybersecurity declaration to strengthen global digital resilience. In parallel, the European Parliament is currently working on two legislative proposals (the “Cybersecurity Act 2”), with an update of the NIS2 directive and a proposal for reinforcing the EU’s Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA), the EU cybersecurity certification framework and the ICT supply chain.
