Hearts’ in-form striker James Wilson, 17, discusses balancing soccer together with his college research

James Wilson is just 17 years old and after making his senior debut last season has broken into the Hearts first team this season, scoring five goals in 14 appearances. Four of them in the league – one a dramatic goal against rivals Hibs in the Edinburgh derby – while the other was in Europe.
He is combining his professional football with his school studies. He’s in his final year at school, studying maths and PE.
