Coney Island Boardwalk Set for $1 Billion Upgrade

The executive director of the Alliance for Coney Island Daniel Murphy joins Lisa Mateo of Bloomberg This Weekend to explain how Coney Island is entering a new phase of growth with a permanent business improvement district and a planned $1 billion investment to rebuild the boardwalk and support local businesses. He says the upgrades are intended to strengthen Coney Island as a year-round community while preserving its identity as "the people’s playground."
