Holocaust survivor affords message of hope for the world | DW News

Ceremonies are being held at present, International Holocaust Remembrance Day, which in Germany is called the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of National Socialism.
On this present day in 1945, Soviet forces liberated Auschwitz in Nazi-occupied Poland, the biggest and deadliest of focus and extermination camps, the place a whole bunch of hundreds of individuals had been tortured and killed underneath the orders of Adolf Hitler. In complete, the Nazis systematically murdered an estimated six million Jews within the Holocaust, along with Roma and Sinti individuals, homosexuals, individuals with disabilities and political opponents.
