Women and youngsters hope for asylum in Ceuta | DW News
The vast majority of the more than 70,000 migrants who crossed into the Spanish enclave of Ceuta last week have already returned to Morocco. Authorities say at least 2,000 remain, including women and children, many of them unaccompanied minors. Now living in difficult conditions, they hope that Spain will grant them asylum. They describe dangerous journeys and say they don’t want to go back to Morocco, where most are from.
