WNBA’s Brittney Griner Files for Divorce From Cherelle Griner | E! News
Brittney Griner and Cherelle Griner’s relationship is undergoing a turnover. Seven years after the couple tied the knot, and two years after they welcomed son Bash Raymond Griner, Brittney filed for divorce in Georgia’s Fulton County Superior Court. According to the July 30 filing obtained by E! News, Brittney and Cherelle have been living apart with no intimate relations since July 24. The filing notes that “the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken” and alleges there is “no hope of reconciliation.” E! News has reached out to reps for Brittney, 35, and Cherelle, 34, for comment but has not yet heard back. Neither of the women have publicly addressed their divorce. The news comes four years after the WNBA star returned to the U.S. after being detained in Russia.
