ordan are still refusing to support Gianni Infantino even after they were “suddenly” paid the money they were owed by FIFA this morning.
On Tuesday Prince Ali, who is the president of the Jordan FA, accused FIFA of “blackmailing” Jordan over prize money owed to them in exchange for support for Infantino staying on as FIFA president.
Prince Ali wrote on X that his FA would not back Infantino after alleging FIFA sought to secure his support by promising it would help with the recovery of money he said was owed to the JFA.
Prince Ali now says the money has “suddenly” been paid this morning but his FA are still not going to back Infantino.
