Residents of South Florida in the US have started their spring cleaning a little early by rounding up green iguanas in their gardens, on sidewalks, and on streets. Unusually low temperatures have sent the iguana population into temporary hibernation, presenting authorities with what they see as a unique conservation opportunity for a troublesome, growing, and invasive species.
