US & Venezuela take first steps to revive diplomatic relations | DW News

The United States and Venezuela have begun talks on restoring diplomatic relations, just days after US forces captured former President Nicolás Maduro in a raid earlier this month that resulted in heavy casualties.
A US delegation has traveled to Caracas to assess the potential reopening of the US Embassy, while Venezuelan officials plan to visit Washington for further discussions.
