US ‘not prepared’ to escort oil tankers by Strait of Hormuz | DW News
Markets are jittery because of the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, a chokepoint for a fifth of the world’s oil shipments. An Iranian Revolutionary Guard naval commander posted on X that his forces would maintain the supreme leader’s strategy of delivering ‘severe blows to the agressor’ by cutting off traffic through the waterway.
