US president-elect Donald Trump has put forward his pick to negotiate peace in Ukraine. Keith Kellogg is a retired lieutenant-general who was a national security adviser during the first Trump administration. He’s expected to play a crucial role in achieving Trump’s stated aim of ending the war – that began after Russia’s full-scale invasion of its neighbor in 2022.
