TikToker Sydney Towle has entered hospice care three years after she was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma, a rare bile duct cancer, her brother Austin Towle shared Aug. 4. “Sydney has been moved to hospice and is surrounded by her friends and family,” Austin wrote over a photo of the siblings’ family gathered in Sydney’s hospital room in an Aug. 4 TikTok. “Thank you all for your love and support.” Just two weeks earlier, the Dartmouth graduate updated her 1.1 million TikTok followers on the next phase of a clinical trial involving tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) therapy, admitting she hasn’t been as active on social media due to the treatment’s toll.
