‘They Just Believe This Garbage’: Harry Enten Rips GOP Voters For Election Fraud Beliefs

While breaking down this fall’s U.S. Senate race in Georgia, where incumbent Sen. Jon Ossoff (D) will face off against Trump-backed GOP candidate Rep. Mike Collins, CNN host Harry Enten blasted Republican voters who still believe the 2020 election was stolen from President Donald Trump.

Collins “fits in very well with how Republicans still feel about the 2020 election,” Enten said on Monday. “I mean, they just believe this garbage. Look at this: GOP who say the 2020 election was stolen, back in 2021, just after the 2020 election, 60% of Republicans believe that the 2020 election was stolen; of course, there is no proof of that whatsoever.”

“Come forward five years later, again there’s no proof, but now 63% of Republicans believe that the 2020 election was stolen,” he continued.

Enten branded Collins “Herschel Walker 2.0,” referring to the former football player and Trump-backed GOP U.S. Senate candidate who lost in Georgia in 2022, and pointed to recent comments the congressman made to CNN’s Manu Raju, where he continued to say that Trump won Georgia in 2020.

“I have said this over and over and over again, you don’t change the rules in the middle of the game,” Collins told Raju on Sunday when asked if Joe Biden won Georgia in 2020. “And that’s what happened in 2020, they changed the rules up. You don’t all of a sudden turn around and start mailing out absentee ballots to everybody. You don’t set up drop boxes all over the place for people to just start this mass harvesting. Ballot harvesting.”

“So you think Trump won?” Raju asked.

“Trump won that race,” Collins said.

“In Georgia?” Raju asked.

“Yes,” Collins said.

Enten went on to point out that the majority of Americans do not believe the 2020 election was stolen, and Collins continually messaging that is a “losing message” in a general election.
