It’s never too early to gear up for gifting season—even though it absolutely feels earlier and earlier every year. But, hey, if you can get your holiday shopping done just a bit earlier this time, it’ll feel pretty darn nice. This year’s early Black Friday deals bring you a much-coveted kitchen item: the Vitamix blender. If you’ve ever gazed longingly at one of these incredible machines but balked at the price, it’s time to take a second look.

Vitamix has blenders available in five different series models right now (listed from most affordable to most expensive): Explorian, Legacy, Propel, Ascent, Ascent X. Here are the ones that have temporarily dropped down to be on par with other, usually more affordable, brands.

Vitamix Ascent Series A2500 Blender

This Vitamix blender from the Ascent Series is one of the newest the company has come out with, and the retail price usually reflects that for $599.95. Usher in the Black Friday deals! Walmart is offering this snazzy blender for $399.95 right now

Enjoy preset programming for smoothies, hot soups (heat them right in the machine), and frozen desserts. This model also offers speed control, rather than an on-off button like most other blenders. The base of the model is compatible with other Vitamix container sizes too, so you can swap it out if you’re blending different batches of food.

Vitamix Propel 510 Blender

The Propel line is right in the middle of their price range offerings but includes many of the control functions of the Ascent series, which are the most important in my book. These include: preset programs, variable speed control, and pulse capabilities.

Amazon is offering the Vitamix Propel 510 for a whopping 40% discount. (I feel like I remember a time when the Vitamix was never on sale. What a time we live in.) Instead of the retail price of $499.95, right now it’s down to $279.95. This is epic if you’ve had your eye on the Propel. You must have been on the “Nice” list this year.

Between the two of these, you really can’t go wrong. The Ascent will offer you a little bit more flexibility if you have the Vitamix food processor attachment, or if you like touch buttons a whole lot, but they both have equally effective mechanisms to make smooth soups, fresh pureed baby food, or silky smoothies.
