Sudan: Mounting fears that assaults by Rapid Support Forces may set off additional violence | DW News

A pro-democracy group in Sudan has said around 40 people have been killed in artillery fire by the Rapid Support Forces, a faction of the Sudanese Army. The pro-democracy group Karari Resistance Committee made the claims in a post on social media a day after more than another 100 people were reported to have been killed by the Rapid Support Forces. The country collapsed into civil war last year when the military split into two opposing groups.
