Stranded NASA astronauts welcome new crew on ISS | DW News
A pair of astronauts stranded on the International Space Station are one step closer to returning home to earth. They were stranded after the SpaceX capsule they travelled on suffered propulsion issues and returned home without them. But a replacement crew have now docked with the orbital outpost. The mission even became a political issue with President Donald Trump and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk falsely claiming the astronauts were abandoned in space by former US President Joe Biden.
