SpaceX capsule docks at Int’l Space Station, changing two stranded NASA astronauts with new crew
A pair of astronauts stranded on the International Space Station are one step closer to returning home to earth. Astronauts Butch Wilmore and Susi Williams were stranded after the SpaceX capsule they travelled on suffered propulsion issues and returned home without them. But a replacement crew have now docked with the orbital outpost. The mission even became a political issue with President Donald Trump and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk falsely claiming the astronauts were abandoned in space by former US President Joe Biden.
