Sen. Tillis Expected to Clear Way for Kevin Warsh as Fed Chair

Bloomberg’s Michael McKee breaks down the big week ahead for the Fed, with Jerome Powell’s final press conference on rate cuts this Wednesday as his term ends next month. Hours earlier, the Senate Banking Committee will move forward with confirming Kevin Warsh to be the next Fed Chair after the DOJ investigation was dropped. Sunday morning, Sen. Thom Tillis (R-North Carolina) said he would support Warsh’s nomination.
