Russia declares Estonian PM Kaja Kallas a ‘wished’ individual
Russia declared Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas a “wanted” individual on Tuesday.
The web site of Russia’s inside ministry included Kallas in a database as being “wanted under the criminal code.”
Estonia’s State Secretary Taimar Peterkop and Lithuania’s Culture Minister Simonas Kairys had been additionally named on the wished checklist.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov later stated that Kallas and the opposite Baltic lawmakers had been placed on the wished checklist for hostile actions towards Russia and the “desecration of historical memory.”
“These are people who take hostile actions against historical memory and our country,” Peskov instructed reporters.
A Russian safety supply, talking on the situation of anonymity, instructed Russia’s state-run TASS information company that the three had been being prosecuted for “destroying monuments to Soviet troopers” in World War II.
Kallas has been a vocal supporter of Ukraine since Russia’s full-scale invasion in February 2022.
She has been one of many strongest voices within the European Union and in NATO in favor of offering extra arms to Ukraine.
