Rep. AOC Says US Must Avoid Confrontation on Taiwan

US Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, speaking at the Munich Security Conference, drew Republican criticism after hesitating before responding to a question from Bloomberg’s Francine Lacqua on whether the US should commit troops to defend Taiwan if China attacked.

Her advisers said she was choosing her words carefully before answering.
