Olaf Scholz on Madgeburg Christmas market assault | DW News

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz visited the scene of the tragedy in Magdeburg and called the attack a "terrible, insane act". He called for a full investigation of the crime. The perpetrator, his actions and motives must be accurately understood and the criminal consequences must be applied. Scholz also called for social cohesion.
