Amid the 2026 World Cup and the Knicks’ NBA Playoffs victory taking place in New York City, mayor Zohran Mamdani seemed to confirm Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding is taking place this summer. “We are the biggest city in the country,” the politician told reporters June 15, per Page Six, detailing the city’s preparedness for the 2026 World Cup. “We are used to big events, and we are incredibly excited for this one.” The 34-year-old added, “We know it coincides with the Knicks’ Finals run.
