Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos revealed local authorities were on the hunt for surveillance footage from Jan. 11, a date in which officials believed a potential suspect had been pictured. Nanos told KOLD March 23, “We do believe that something occurred on Jan. 11.” Although he didn’t share evidence as to why investigators find the date significant, Nanos also emphasized that the investigation into Nancy’s disappearance—which went underway after the 84-year-old was reported missing Feb. 1—will continue.
