Millie Bobby Brown is opening up about a deeply personal chapter in her life. During a recent appearance on Jay Shetty’s ‘On Purpose’ podcast, the ‘Stranger Things’ star revealed how a frightening experience while traveling left her struggling with severe anxiety for months. According to Brown, an incident in which she and her security team were chased for 20 minutes triggered a three-month-long anxiety attack that left her feeling overwhelmed and disconnected. Everything changed during a trip to Kyoto, Japan, where she spent time with monks and embraced meditation. She says the encounter helped break the cycle of anxiety and reconnect her with a sense of peace. The actress also revealed that prioritizing her mental health was essential before starting a family with husband Jake Bongiovi. Brown explained that she knew she needed to heal and better manage her anxiety before welcoming their daughter into the world. Now, looking back, Brown says she’s happier than ever, calling Bongiovi “the best thing to ever happen” to her and their daughter “the best thing to ever happen” to both of them.
