MEP reacts to EU’s €200 million nice on TEMU: “Finally”

Products such as chargers and children’s toys sold on Chinese online retailer Temu are "unsafe and environmentally harmful."

MEP Anna Cavazzini reacts on #EuropeToday to the €200 million fine imposed by the European Commission on Temu for breaching the EU’s Digital Services Act.

According to the Commission, Temu "failed to diligently identify, analyse and assess the systemic risks of illegal products being offered on its platform and the resulting harm to consumers in the European Union."
