Legitimate help for M23 rebels in Goma? | DW News
In the Democratic Republic of Congo in central Africa, fighters from the M23 rebel group and their allies have entered the eastern regional capital of Goma. The Congolese government disputes M23’s claims that rebels have taken control with the city. At least 17 United Nations peacekeepers have been killed in the fighting so far. Thousands of civilians are fleeing across the border into Rwanda. The UN is warning that hospitals in Goma are overwhelmed.
