Lamar Odom Clarifies Comments About Marrying Khloe Kardashian for Fame | E! News

Four months after Lamar Odom said he married Khloe Kardashian because he wanted her famous lifestyle in his Netflix documentary ‘Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom,’ he clarified what he really meant. “That never came out of my mouth,” Odom said during a June 23 appearance on the ‘Nothing’s Off The Table with Louis Ruggiero’ podcast. “I think that was my kids or my children or whoever they were interviewing at that time.” Odom went on to emphasize that he was already one of basketball’s biggest stars before meeting Kardashian. "I didn’t really need more clout," he said, noting that he was playing alongside Kobe Bryant during his time with the Los Angeles Lakers.
