South Korea’s AI-fueled stock rally has come under renewed pressure as SK Hynix tumbled by a record 15%, underscoring growing investor concerns that the boom had become overstretched.
Oil jumped as the US completed another wave of strikes against Iran, with the two sides disputing whether the Strait of Hormuz was open.
Ukraine is expected to be top of the agenda as meetings of both EU Foreign Affairs ministers and leaders of the Coalition of the Willing countries are due take place today. The gatherings comes as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy removed the nation’s prime minister as part of a shift in ‘political strategy’ in the run up to another winter under threat of Russian attacks.
