‘Empire’ alum Jussie Smollett’s 2022 conviction for allegedly staging a hate crime has been overturned by an Illinois Supreme Court. Previously, Jussie was sentenced to 150 days in jail in 2022, serving only six, after being convicted of five counts of disorderly conduct.
