Jill Duggar Details Grief Journey During Visit to Daughter’s Grave | E! News
Jill Duggar Dillard has continued to detail her grief journey. Two years after the stillbirth of her and husband Derick Dillard’s daughter Isla Marie, the ’19 Kids and Counting’ alum shared insight into how they honored their baby’s memory alongside a glimpse at a recent visit to her grave. “Life is a constant combination of ups and downs, joy and sorrow, roses and thorns,” Jill wrote in an Instagram post shared on Feb. 27. “I’m thankful for God’s faithfulness through all.” The 34-year-old—who shares sons Israel, 10, Samuel, 8, and Frederick, 3, with Derick—noted that grief comes in waves and during those more difficult moments, she’s found comfort in visiting her late daughter’s grave. “Anyone who has experienced loss knows that it’s often in the quiet moments when the waves come stronger and we are reminded more of the hole left by a loss,” Jill wrote in the post, which featured a selfie of her sitting on the grass beside Isla’s tombstone. “Or sometimes it’s felt deeper at a place that just gives you the space to feel.” Referencing the somber snapshot, Jill added, “I’m so grateful to have a place to go to remember our daughter.” Full Story: https://www.eonline.com/news/1415013/jill-duggar-shares-heartbreaking-message-one-year-after-daughters-stillbirth
