Weeks after Jelly Roll’s wife Bunnie Xo released her memoir ‘Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic’, she confirmed it’s being turned into a movie. And after everything she’s been through in life, Bunnie (real name Alisa DeFord) can’t quite believe it. “Writing this book was one of the most vulnerable things I’ve ever done. I told my story the only way I knew how: raw, real and unapologetic,” she told ‘Variety’ in a March 12 statement. “Seeing it now move from the pages to the big screen is something I never could have imagined.” The 46-year-old—who married Jelly Roll (born Jason DeFord) in 2016—is hopeful the film will encourage the same inspirational messages that she wrote about in her book. “I can’t wait for audiences to experience the chaos, the heartbreak, the humor and the redemption in a way that only film can capture,” Bunnie shared. “If this film does anything, I hope it reminds people that your past, nor your trauma, can ever define you, your comeback does.
