After Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo finalized their divorce last month, the Grammy winner shared that he is stepping back from the spotlight. “This has truly been a lifetime experience for me,” Jelly Roll told a crowd during his recent show in Salt Lake City. “And in a couple of nights, I go to Colorado Springs and do my last show for a year or two. I’m fixing to take some time off and heal.” The country singer’s update comes as Bunnie Xo (Alisa DeFord) has continued to maintain the couple’s separation is nothing but amicable. “We have been the most unconventional couple that you guys have ever encountered,” Bunnie Xo said during a since-deleted episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast in June. “We’re going to co-parent together. J is my best friend. This isn’t what you guys think this is. Nobody cheated on the other person.
