Zendaya—who has played Rue Bennett in ‘Euphoria’ since 2019—weighed in on whether the upcoming third season of the HBO series, premiering April 12, will be its last. Though HBO has not officially confirmed whether season three is Euphoria’s last, many fans have assumed it would be the end after there was a four-year hiatus between season two and three. The delay was due in part to the cast—which also includes Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, Maude Apatow, Hunter Schafer and Alexa Demie—becoming bigger stars in Hollywood, which made it increasingly difficult to balance their schedules. Additionally, the ‘Euphoria’ family lost one of their own in 2023 when star Angus Cloud—who played character Fezco—died at age 25 following an accidental overdose.
