Rescue teams in Venezuela are racing against time after powerful back-to-back earthquakes killed more than 1,400 people and left tens of thousands missing. Survivors are being pulled from rubble, but hopes are fading as food and water run short. Anger is growing over the government’s slow response, while looting adds to the chaos. International aid is arriving, but damaged infrastructure and ongoing aftershocks are complicating efforts on the ground.
