Hamas conditionally agrees to disarm | DW News
US President Donald Trump has declared a breakthrough in negotiations over disarming Hamas in Gaza, and Israel withdrawing from the territory. Hamas has confirmed it is willing to lay down its weapons, but demands Israel leave Gaza first. The Israeli government has not commented. Many hurdles remain, including complex conditions and long timelines. DW’s Christine Mhundwa speaks to our Jerusalem correspondent Tania Kraemer for details on the deal.
