Haiti: Can Kenyan forces stabilize a rustic tormented by gang violence and overseas intervention?
Much of Haiti’s capital Port-au-Prince is controlled by criminal gangs. Killings, rapes and kidnappings have risen sharply since Haitian President Jovenel Moïse was assassinated in 2021. Only 400 have arrived so far, but they have made some gains.
