Germany suspends choices on asylum purposes by Syrians | DW News
Syrians who fled the civil war in their country are spread out across the world. Germany hosts the largest Syrian community in Europe. Many Syrians are now flooding the streets of their adopted country to celebrate the sudden and stunning end to the Assad family’s rule. The German government has voiced its solidarity with the diaspora — and announced that it’s freezing all new asylum applications from Syrians.
