The world’s biggest security conference has just gotten underway in Munich. Germany’s chancellor, Friedrich Merz kicked off the proceedings with a plea to rebuild ties between Europe and the US. Transatlantic relations are at a low point, with the Trump administration’s policies damaging decades of trust. DW’s Matthew Moore reports.
