Even though Europe is meant to work like one coherent economy, it doesn’t. Many Europeans can’t easily work across borders because their job qualifications aren’t accepted in other EU countries.
According to the IMF, these barriers in inside Europe are costing the bloc as much as a 110% tariff would.
