Europe swelters below heatwave | DW News
Much of Western Europe is sweltering in a gruelling heatwave, with temperatures expected to climb further in the coming days. Authorities across the continent have been issuing extreme weather alerts. In European capitals, both residents and tourists are improvising ways to stay cool.
DW News spoke with Andrea Pedot, a member of the Italian Red Cross Resilience and Adaptation Team. He also works as an epidemiologist specializing in heatwaves.
