Escalating battle between Pakistan and Afghanistan | DW News

Pakistan has bombed several cities across Afghanistan including the capital Kabul, in a major escalation of a long-running border dispute. The Pakistani defense minister has spoken of ‘open war’ between the neighbors. Afghanistan’s Taliban rulers have hit back, sending drones against Pakistani military installations. Pakistan accuses the Taliban of harboring militants who launch attacks inside its territory.
