Election Day 2024 stay updates: Dixville Notch declares first outcomes as Trump rambles into center of evening at rally
Vice President Kamala Harris and Former President Donald Trump are making their final pitches to voters on Monday, the last full day of campaigning before Election Day.
The vice president was joined by celebrities Lady Gaga, Oprah Winfrey, Ricky Martin, and The Roots in Philadelphia this evening as Katy Perry and Christina Aguilera supported her in Pittsburgh and Las Vegas.
Trump also concentrated on the Keystone State, delivering his “closing message” at a rally in Pittsburgh before one final rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan — where he closed out both his 2016 and 2020 campaigns.
In Pittsburgh, Trump brought his family out, announced he had been endorsed by podcaster Joe Rogan, and was joined on stage by Megyn Kelly. Because he spoke for approximately two hours, his supporters at his final rally in Michigan waited past midnight for his arrival. The former president finished speaking at 2.09am.
Also at midnight, the first in-person votes were cast in Dixville Notch, New Hampshire — a tradition going back almost 65 years. There are just six registered voters in the town who split evenly between the two candidates.

Nate Silver publishes final Silver Bulletin election forecast
Nate Silver has published his final Silver Bulletin 2024 presidential election forecast.
He writes:
Happy Election Day! At exactly midnight on Tuesday, we ran our simulation model for the final time in this election cycle. Out of 80,000 simulations, Kamala Harris won in 40,012 (50.015%) cases. She did not win in 39,988 simulations (49.985%). Of those, 39,718 were outright wins for Donald Trump and the remainder (270 simulations) were exact 269-269 Electoral College ties: these ties are likely to eventually result in Trump wins in the U.S. House of Representatives.
