Dr. Pimple Popper Sandra Lee Says Part of Her Brain Died During Stroke | E! News
Dr. Sandra Lee—best known as Dr. Pimple Popper—suffered a stroke while filming season two of her Lifetime reality show. “It happened while I was filming the show,” Sandra, 55, told People in an interview published April 14. “I had what I thought was a hot flash. I got super sweaty and didn’t feel like myself.” During a trip to the Emergency Room, an MRI confirmed that she had indeed suffered an ischemic stroke, which occurs when the blood supply to part of the brain is blocked or reduced, preventing the brain from getting necessary oxygen and nutrients, according to Mayo Clinic. “What essentially happened,” she added, “is I had a part of my brain that died.” Full Story: https://www.eonline.com/news/1430866/dr-pimple-popper-sandra-lee-suffered-stroke-part-of-brain-died
