Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris has shown off its new face to the world. Five years after a devastating fire, the beloved Gothic landmark is almost ready to reopen. Rebuilding has cost around 700 million euros. Hundreds of skilled craft workers have painstakingly restored the cathedral’s spire and roof, along with much of the interior.
