Pascal Duvier is setting the record straight. After Chappell Roan was accused of siccing her security guard on Jude Law and Catherine Harding’s 11-year-old daughter Ada Law at a hotel in Brazil, the bodyguard clarified that he was not part of the singer’s team. "I do not normally address online rumors," Pascal began in a March 25 Instagram post, "but the accusations currently circulating are false and constitute defamation." The security guard said he wanted to take "full responsibility" for the interaction on March 21, when Catherine and her husband Jorginho said Ada was accused of "harassment" for smiling at Chappell while they were having breakfast at a hotel in São Paulo. "I was at the hotel on behalf of another individual, and I was not part of the personal security team of Chappell Roan," Pascal said. "The actions I took were not on behalf of Chappell Roan, her personal security team, her management, or any other individuals." He continued, "I made a judgment call based on information we obtained from the hotel, events I had witnessed in the days prior and the heightened overall security risk of our location."
