After Chanel West Coast entered a new era following her Ridiculousness exit, the MTV alum debuted her new country song “Giddy Up.” In a statement shared with E! News, Chanel said the song is a “country-pop record, but it’s really about bridging worlds. I wanted it to feel familiar to country fans while still hitting for pop, hip-hop, and dance listeners too.” While “Giddy Up” certainly marks a new chapter, Chanel’s step into the genre was back in April, when she released her first country tune “Lil’ Bit Country.” At the time, the 37-year-old——who shares Bowie Breeze, 3, with boyfriend Dom Fenison—said her career switch up had been a long time coming.
