Ukraine is stepping up strikes on Crimea – targeting fuel, power, and critical supply routes. The apparent goal: to isolate the Russian-occupied peninsula and weaken Moscow’s hold. But is this a strategy of pressure – or preparation for a full-scale bid to retake Crimea? And even if Ukraine could, would it be able to hold the territory? We speak to our Ukraine correspondent Nick Connolly and Russia analyst Mark Galeotti about what’s really behind this shift – and what losing Crimea could mean for Vladimir Putin.
