BTS, Justin Bieber, Shakira & More Perform on the First-Ever World Cup Halftime Show
The FIFA World Cup made history with its first-ever halftime show, delivering a star-studded spectacle featuring Madonna, BTS, Justin Bieber and Shakira at MetLife Stadium on July 19. Madonna kicked off the inaugural performance with her hit "Music" after making a grand entrance alongside Brazilian soccer legends Ronaldo and Ronaldinho. Conductor Gustavo Dudamel and his orchestra, joined by the Muppets for a whimsical musical moment. BTS energized the crowd with a performance of their global hit "Dynamite" before ‘Ted Lasso’ stars Jason Sudeikis and Brendan Hunt introduced Justin Bieber. Shakira and Burna Boy performed their collaboration "Dai Dai" before the show concluded with Chris Martin, the PS22 Chorus, and Sesame Street characters.
