European football expert Andy Brassell discussed the latest developments in Ethan Nwaneri loan move to Marseille, as well as other European football talking points including whether Roberto De Zerbi could end up at Manchester United.
Arsenal’s Ethan Nwaneri is in France for a medical with Marseille following the agreement of a loan deal.
The move is expected to be confirmed in the next 24 hours.
It is a straight loan until the end of the season for more game time, with Nwaneri still in Arsenal’s long-term plans.
Working with Marseille boss Roberto De Zerbi to develop him is understood to be a major factor behind the move.
A number of Premier League and European clubs were interested in getting Nwaneri on loan this month.
