Bill and Hilary Clinton conform to testify earlier than US Congress in Epstein investigations | DW News
Bill and Hilary Clinton have agreed to testify before the US Congressional investigation into Jeffrey Epstein.
The former president and former Secretary of State initially defied a subpoena from the House Oversight Committee. But they have now bowed to the threat of being held in contempt of Congress, which is punishable by up to 12 months in jail and and a up to one hundred thousand dollar fine. It will mark the first time that lawmakers have compelled a former president to testify.
